The tandem paragliding flight is the best way to try out this sport and to make an initial contact. During the flight you can admire the splendid nature of Tenerife with a bird´s-eye view. The instructors will also explain the aerodynamics, thermal components and wind conditions, turning it into a fabulous flight with the highest safety standards.
So if you are looking for a new experience and want to enjoy every moment during the flight, you have made the right choice with a tandem paragliding flight. From the beginning of your adventure to the end of the flight you will be accompanied by a qualified member of the technical team. Experience shows that after flying for the first time you will start to see the elements of sky and wind with other eyes, you’ll know how to interpret them and probably you can´t want to fly again, because now you know the great experience of paragliding.
Feel” free as a bird” and fulfill your desire to practice paragliding in Tenerife, knowing you can rely on the security provided by professionals during your flight.
Basic flight: It`s a flight lasting approximately between 15 and 25 minutes. Our partner has several flight areas as Taucho, Ifonche and Jama, always depending on the weather conditions. We recommend this flight to all those seeking for their first experiences in paragliding.

The price includes round trip transfer from the hotel to the take-off area, on demand.

Preparation:

After presenting pilots and passengers, we will advise you about what to wear to enjoy a comfortable paragliding flight. We recommend to wear trekking boots or comfortable shoes, not open shoes (no heels, sandals or similar), and warm clothing. Especially in winter and high performance flights we recommend gloves and something to cover your head, because the air in altitude can be quite cold.
Before the take-off, we will visually recognize the flight area so you can get an idea of the course. We will provide you the necessary instructions for a perfect take-off, flight and landing.
Your chair will be correctly adjusted and you will be given a helmet. The paragliding technical team prepares the equipment and checks that the conditions are suitable for flying. Let´s go!

Ready to Take-off:

Once everything is ready the paragliding pilot will be anchored to you, the passenger is fastened in front and the pilot goes behind. Before departing, we will always ask if you are ready and only then the pilot will decide the most suitable time to take-off (always depending on the wind and its direction). They will explain that even if you start with the idea to make a long, fast sprint, you will notice a resistance from the glider, but don´t stop running. If any problem occurs during the take-off we simply stop and try again. The advantage of a paragliding flight is that everything happens very slowly and we can start over without any problems. The passenger only has to think about his own sprint since the pilot will coordinate everything else.
The glider takes off at 15 km per hour. If we have 15 km/h headwind, after 2 or 3 meters of running we will be already flying. If there is no wind, the area necessary to take-off will be a little longer.

During the Flight:

After the sprint and having taken off the pilot will tell you when to sit in the chair. Therefore you don’t have to do anything special, just let go and enjoy the comfort, security and this new sensation of paragliding.

Before landing the pilot informs you. We incorporate ourselves exactly as we did in the take-off and we prepare to run. Generally landing is like jumping off a 20 cm high stool. If the take-off is easy the landing is even easier.
Once on the ground, you will realize how wonderful a paragliding flight really is.

Our provider uses the latest generation homologate flight equipment in all their flight. Paragliders are designed to support a load range between 140 and 220 kg. The pilot has emergency harnesses and high security maillons, everything you need to make you feel calm and safe. The technical team speaks Spanish, English and some German.
